Increasing Access to Care Through the Lens of Diversity and Inclusion
The 2021 Midwest Genetics Network’s Annual Meeting was held virtually on September 29th and 30th, and focused on diversity and inclusion within the genetics community. Sessions addressed gender diversity, implicit bias and ways to build MGN’s capacity to serve. The MGN Showcase, regional and national updates provided a knowledge base to refine the MGN workplan which guides our continued work— building on accomplishments and addressing challenges and barriers.
