Increasing Access to Care Through the Lens of Diversity and Inclusion

The Midwest Genetics Network (MGN) unites patients, families, geneticists, genetic professionals, primary care providers, payers and public health experts to improve equity in access to genetic services to medically underserved populations.

Studies show that Implicit Bias and Gender Diversity can impact care and genetic counseling. MGN is committed to providing educational opportunities to increase access to care and address barriers. These sessions are available and open to the broad healthcare community and relevant beyond the field of genetics.
